Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Q: My model qualifies for both Plain Jane and Vintage CM/AR, may I show it in both sections?
A: Yes! If you're horse qualifies for both Plane Jane and Vintage (CM or AR), then YES it may enter both Plain Jane and Vintage. As long as you have entered the show AND the $1 per horse per class!
Q: What is the entry fee for a MAR proxy entree?
A: If the Proxy is registered for MAR, then their entry fee would be $5 for 5 horses instead of the $15 for 5 horses. And. then the $1 per horse per class.
Q: The one rule states no dun factors. Does this include buckskin color?
A: Buckskin are fine, but duns are not allowed as they have dorsal stripes and possibly leg barring. That's too flashy for the plain Plain Jane.
Q: Vintage AR - Does the age depend on the mold or paint?
A: Based on the definition in the show packet, the age of the AR is determined by when the model was completed which I have interpreted as mold and paint job must have been completed >/= 12 years ago. Age the vintage AR is determined from when the piece was painted almost like a vintage custom. For example, an old mold PAM that was molded in 1959 but painted 5 years ago, wouldn't consider vintage. Visa versa I wouldn't consider an AR molded in 2000 that was painted a few years ago vintage.
